How it works:
Angels Eyes works to prevent tear staining by tying up circulating porphyrins, a compound that reacts with light to produce a reddish-brown stain to the medial canthus (the meeting spot of the upper and lower eyelids).

What is this product used for: Angels' Eyes is the first tear stain remover specifically developed for both dogs and cats to eliminate unsightly tear stains from the inside out. As you keep trimming the stained areas, the newly grown coat will be totally clear.
Availability: Angels' Eyes is a non-prescription (OTC) tear stain eye care product available as a 30 gm sprinkle.
How this product should be used: Sprinkle Angels' Eyes daily on regular food. After 3 months, reduce to 4 times a week. After 6 months, reduce further to twice a week. For puppies over 8 weeks and up to 3 months of age the usual dose of sprinkle to be added to food is 1/8 teaspoonful. For dogs 2 to 5 lbs use 1/4 teaspoonful daily, for dogs 5 to 8 lbs use 1/2 teaspoonful daily, for dogs 8 to 12 lbs use 3/4 teaspoonful daily, and for dogs 12 lbs and over, use 1 teaspoonful daily. For kittens up to 3 months of age is 1/8 teaspoonful daily. For cats 2 to 5 lbs give 1/4 teaspoonful daily, for cats 5 to 8 lbs give 1/2 teaspoonful daily, for cats 8 to 12 lbs give 3/4 teaspoonful daily, and for cats 12 lbs and up, give 1 teaspoonful daily. Shake package before measuring powder.
What are the side effects: There are no known side effects.
What special precautions are there: This product is for animal use only. Shake the container before measuring powder. For best results use Angels' Eyes every day as specified in the directions. In rare cases where pets do not like changes to their food, Angels' Eyes can be put in their water. However, when mixing, add the water to the Angels' Eyes do not pour the powder into the water.
In the event of overdose: Overdose is unlikely. However, if overdose is suspected, contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency room.
