What is this product used for: Bio Spot Spot On Flea and Tick Control for Dogs contains IGR to kill flea eggs preventing eggs from developing into adult fleas. Each applicator kills and repels fleas, ticks and mosquitoes for up to 30 days
Availability: Bio Spot Spot On Flea and Tick Control for Dogs is a non-prescription (OTC) product available in boxes containing a 6 month supply for; puppies, toys and miniatures under 15 lbs, small dogs 16-30 lbs, medium dogs 31-60 lbs and large dogs over 60 lbs.
How this product should be used: For dogs and puppies 6 months of age or older read the entire package label before using. For dogs up to 60 lbs apply 1/2 of the tube contents between the shoulder blades and the remaining 1/2 at the base of the tail. For dogs over 60 lbs, apply 2/3 of the tube contents between the shoulder blades and the remaining 1/3 at the base of the tail. Do not reapply product for 30 days.
What are the side effects: Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe the pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Repeated exposure to Etofenprox can cause skin irritations in humans. Reactions to BioSpot for Dogs may include skin sensitivity. If sensitivity occurs, bathe dog with a mild, non-insecticide shampoo and contact veterinarian. Other symptoms may include drowsiness, itching or redness, rash, hair discoloration or hair loss at application site.
What special precautions are there: Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals. Certain medications can interact with pesticides. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals. Use BioSpot for Dogs only on dogs 6 months of age or older. Do not use BioSpot for Dogs on cats or animals other than dogs.
In the event of overdose: Contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency room.
How should I store this product: Store this medication in a cool, dry place. Do not store unused applicators separately from the package. Keep this medication out of the reach of children and pets.
