ADOPTION FEES

Dogs and cats: $135

Fee includes spaying/neutering, first set of vaccinations,
one-year rabies vaccine, heartworm/feline leukemia test, avid
microchip, fecal exam and complete health exam.

Animals that have already been altered will have a $50 adoption
fee and still be sent to the vet.

The Jefferson County Animal Shelter is at 7105 Shelter Road,
Barnhart. Operating hours are: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday — Wednesday;
noon to 5 p.m. Thursday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to noon
